“Résidence Itinérante – mois de la photo 2012″: download the details
The “Sar’Nao” is the yearly photography event in Madagascar. Despite the crisis that still prevails in my country, it’s always great to see passionate people keeping up and doing great things- this “Sar’Nao 2012″ is one of those great initiatives that deserve a lot of exposure (and a lot of participants too). Not only have the organizing committee decided to take on the challenge to make this event happen, but they even take it further by initiating the first (at least, from what I know) “résidence itinérante”.
Simply put, the “résidence itinérante” is a photographic tour of the north part of Madagascar where photography passionate (amateurs as well as experienced ones) will get together, learn and practice photography as well as discover this wonderful country.
The event will take place from september 23rd to october 7th. Participants will do a 2 500km tour discovering and capturing the beauty and daily life sceneries of the North of Madagascar with stops at the following places: Tana – Mampikony- Ambanja – Ankify – Nosy be – Antsiranana (Andramena, Ankarana, Ambre) – Tana.
While the tour will be partly subsidized, each participants will have to pay a fee of 550 000ariary/pax that will cover:
– training fees
– accomodation as well as meals (breakfast, lunch and diner)
– transportation (on a mini-bus)
– entry fees for certain protected areas
Those fees should be paid to the following bank account:
Banque : BFV Société Generale 00008
Titulaire du compte : SAR’nao
Code agence : 00007 Tsaralalàna
Numéro de compte : 05004005994 58
At the end, a photo exhibit of 60 selected photos will be done, and each participants will provide 10 of their best photos that will be included into a slideshow. A 25mn movie about the event will also be produced.
So if you are interested, you’d better hurry up for confirming your subscription: the organizing team have limited a minimum number of participants (25 pax), as well as a maximum number (35pax)
Without further ado, here is the detailed presentation of the “Résidence Itinérante 2012″ (French Version )
