Due to looting and destruction, the Marojejy National park is forced to close its entry to tourism. This is what the Marojejy national parks’s website is reporting those last days.
This is an important alert as this illustrates one of the biggest concern with regard to the difficult to handle opposition between conservation and economical interests as Madagascar, with all its endemic species raises interests from traffic people that want to make a lot of money out of it.
What’s your view or suggestions in order to stop those kind of looting and keep the conservation side as a priority?
