I’ve just reported that a new THB 6,2% is on the market as of now for all THB lovers. This is a good transition for giving Madafan readers a preview of usual festivemoment in Madagascar whereby you’ll find the masikita or mosakiky and beer (usually THB or Gold).
“Masikita” or “Mosakiky” are barbecue that are usually served along the road and grilled on a metal plate heated by charcoal. Typical barbecues you’ll chose is: zebu meat (that usually comes with the “trafony”, that which is the fat on typical Zebus of Madagascar, a camel-like ), chicken barbecue or pieces of grilled chicken-usually called by Malagasy “pistolet” – because of its gun-like shape. One of the most famous and interesting place to appreciate this feeling of Masikita+beer served with a vinaigrette of mangos is at the “bord” of Majunga where you’ll gather with lot of people next to the centennal baobab with a red sunset and the sea as a background. You can even eventually get your hands on by grilling your own masikita if you want to.
In order to give you an illustration of a family/friends gathering around beer and masikita, check this video on THB and masikita (disclosure: this is an infomercial from THB)
Any other places you love enjoying this couple of beer/masikita you’d want to share? Feel free to leave your feedback on the comments section below.
