Watch out this week-end: lobster’s feast in Taolagnaro
Have you ever tasted a grilled lobster? You must have loved it. If not, this week-end (I know, it’s kind of short notice) Taolagnaro (AKA Fort-Dauphin) will celebrate the lobsters.
Quoting the national tourism board’s announcing the event:
“The second edition of the feast of the spiny lobster, more known “Feria Oramena” will animate fort-Dauphin on June 19th and 20th of this year.
The program: carnival, exhibition, shows and entertainments, tasting of spiny lobsters and outdoor seafood with open view on the fort dauphin’s bay. A competition of “Ringa” is also planned. This is a traditional sport and cultural wealth to be discovered and to be appreciated.

The event is called “Feria oramena”.
In case you can’t make it, help yourself by having an almost typical Malagasy way for cooking a lobster (with coconut) that you can see on The Worldwide gourmet recipe website … Hey, have you noticed that this recipe even serves it with rice (malagasy‘s main dish), and coconut (an important ingredient for coastal Madagascar cooking).
Now, your turn, how do you like your lobster?
