A bungalow-view of Saha Forest Camp
While the prior post on anjozorobe mainly talked about the road that lead to this magnificent place, this post will deal about what you’ll discover once you arrived.
We’ve already discussed about the fact that this lodge is mainly run by local community with a coaching from Fanamby NGO.
The main thing that really stuck me was that despite the fact that you have to drive through secondary roads in order to arrive to Saha Forest Camp, you totally feel like you’ve arrived to another luxury place once you are there. The thumbnail in the left shows how comfortable beds are. A special attention has been taken for choosing the colors of the walls, as well as the use of lightings..
Now, a quick look at the bathroom reassures the visitor that it has state-of-the-art furnishings. Here are some shoots ofthe entry as well as the bathroom part of a bungalow.
One of the main advantage of Saha Forest Camp is that it’s situated near to the primary forest and all bungalows terraces have a very nice view to this primary forest.
Now, if you think that you definitely want to live it the most outdoor way possible, you can go at the other side of the hill where
the bungalows are and you’ ll see some places tents covered by typical malagasy house roofs as you can see it from this photo. We’ve been told that tents are already provided by the camp.
So whether you want the luxury, or the outdoor way of living, you should have your fit at this camp.
As for the common-places (restaurants), it’s well situated and all-wood structures gives it a warm atmosphere beneath this green rainforest.
